Smart Ride by Nationwide
SMARTRIDE BY NATIONWIDE
You’re smart, but sometimes you do dumb things.
Nationwide has a program called SmartRide where they (potentially) steal your data while giving you a discount for good driving. So we created a campaign that pointed out that while you might be kinda dumb sometimes, having SmartRide means you’re actually saving money which makes you smart.
We were planning to make a series of five, but unfortunately advertising things happened and we didn’t retain the business. A couple of my other favorite scenarios were: accidentally rolling down the window in a car wash, carrying a lot of groceries while also trying to get your keys out of your bag only to drop all your groceries, and the moment of realization that breaking into your car is actually really difficult, after you lock your keys inside.
